RECYCLED DOGGIES - Recycling Unwanted Shelter Dogs Into Wonderful Pets!

RECYCLED DOGGIES is an all-foster rescue founded by former volunteers of a KY shelter.  We took all that we learned while volunteering at the shelter and formed this rescue to help shelter dogs, one by one, escape death and find their forever homes through Recycled Doggies.  We believe that amazing dogs are abandoned at shelters all the time, and our mission is to help those amazing dogs find homes by pulling them from the shelters where they may not put their best paws forward, cleaning them up, socializing them, and then introducing them to you!  That's the concept of Recycled Doggies. 

Recycled Doggies does not have a shelter or facility.  All of our dogs live in approved foster homes. 

Our focus is on saving death row dogs at shelters, so we do not take owner surrenders or strays.

No one with Recycled Doggies takes a salary - we are all volunteers.  We rely on donations to pay our vet bills and take care of the doggies in our rescue.  Recycled Doggies is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.  Your donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. 

Say "Hi" to the Duke of Norton.  The Duke of Norton was rescued from a rural shelter in OH where he had NO chance of getting adopted.  He had a testicular tumor and he tested positive for heartworm disease.  He has now had his tumor removed and has completed his heartworm treatment and HE IS NOW HEARTWORM NEGATIVE AND READY TO START HIS NEW LIFE!!  He CRAVES attention!    He just wants to be petted and loved constantly.  He whines when he's ignored. The Duke of Norton is approximately 7 years old.  He has clearly been through a lot in his lifetime.  Duke LOVES his stuffed animals and carries them around everywhere, even keeps them in his mouth while he gives kisses.  Duke's hair grew back and he looks fabulous! This is a great dog!!
